Founded in Baku. The opening of the first AZZA confectionery store set new standards for the sector and helped shape a modern approach informed by international best practices.

2017 marked a new stage for AZZA as the brand began its transition from confectionery stores to the AZZA Gastronom format. The assortment evolved with it, moving beyond confectionery to include a broader range of everyday shopping categories.
Expansion of the assortment to include premium alcoholic beverages and selected imported teas.
Successful launch of the "AZZA Gastronom" concept, transforming traditional stores into modern grocery hubs.
